Here is an easy guide to using a junk removal service: Junk removal Thousand OaksJason Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01542972466616286734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8197284193657318381.post-90940258757226719562012-01-23T10:41:39.432+00:002012-01-23T10:41:39.432+00:00Veolia's solution does not include CHP.
The NL...Veolia's solution does not include CHP.
The NLWA presentation that Veolia "are proposing a Combined Heat and Power enabled power plant" is misleading in that it disguise these facts:
(a) According to Veolia's own commissioned Environmental Impact Assessment scoping report its solution is: 'modern incineration technology'.
(b) Moreover, the report also states that Veolia's proposal does not include infrastructure for CHP.
(c) It would cost £10s of millions to convert Veolia's incinerator power plant to a CHP plant and this additional cost is not included in Veolia's proposal.
(d) Furthermore, Veolia is not proposing any heat end users, but merely stating: "We are actively investigating opportunities for surplus heat from the boiler to be used in a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system by local businesses".
(e) In fact, this is misleading because no potential intensive heat users exist in the vicinity of the Veolia site in Hoddesdon. The existing local industries consume minor amounts of heat and not at all viable given the potential output of a good quality CHP system based on the magnitude of the NLWA SRF heat output. Similarly, there is no viable residential consumption. In other words, building a heat infrastructure at the Hoddesdon site will be absurdly cost ineffective.Yael Kahnhttp://hackneypsc.wordpress.com/no-to-veolia-in-north-london/noreply@blogger.com
