Pictures of the 'Muswell Hill and Friern Barnet Waste Plant'?

"Eastcroft Incinerator opens its doors to the public"

(Our editorial:) This series of pictures gives an impression of what is intended for Muswell Hill and Friern Barnet ('mechanical biological treatment' to create incinerator fuel, maybe at 700degC), then carriage by large lorries along the North Circular Road (not shown!), then burning in an incinerator next to Brent Cross shopping centre.

The alternative is to create greatly reduced NEED for waste disposal, year by year - see the Zero Waste Alliance UK web site. We certainly should not be building giant 'incinerator-fuel plants' like Pinkham Way, or building incinerators to replace any current landfill - please see UKWIN and GAIA web sites.

"Reduce - Reuse - Recycle" -> Remove need for Pinkham Way!
