"The ex-mayor of a London borough has been stripped of his council committee duties after being accused of assault.
"Brian Coleman, 51, former Barnet mayor and ex-London Assembly member, is to be tried on charges of assault by beating and careless driving.

The Conservative Group have proposed the following change:-
North London Waste Authority
- Councillor Daniel Thomas to replace Councillor Brian Coleman as a Council representative on the North London Waste Authority.
RECOMMEND – That the above change to the Council’s representation on the North London Waste Authority be approved by Council. [It was.]
