“Please be kind enough
to clarify if the SRF contract statement, made as a press release, is the limit
of the information being released, or otherwise.
"(For instance, will details of the possible rail arrangements and routes be made public? Does the NLWA have any sort of confidentiality agreement with Network Rail, or rail-freight operators?)”

"In
response to your questions, this is the limit of the information that will be
released about the proposed sites put forward by bidders in the Authority's
procurement for the fuel use contract. Release of any further information would
be in the hands of the bidders, and could arise in connection with public
consultation ahead of a planning application.
"Similarly, details of the possible rail arrangements and
routes will not be made public by the Authority.
Under the Authority's
procurement, transport requirements are contained within the scope of the Waste
Services Contract. There is therefore no negotiation relating to these services
with Network Rail, and no Confidentiality Agreement."
