Haringey Independent: "Consultation on Pinkham Way extended"

Link to web site

"HARINGEY Council have called for residents to make their final comments on a plan on how to manage waste in north London.

"Developers trying to build Europe's biggest waste handling plant at Pinkham Way on the edge of the borough submitted their planning application for the scheme to Haringey Council last week.

"To view the plan and make submit feedback, click here. Comments must be made before July 8."

Note that there is a distinction between:
  • the seven-borough North London Waste Plan, (you must comment by 8 July, for what it's worth), and
  • the separate, joint Pinkham Wood planning application to Haringey Council, from the North London Waste Authority and Barnet Council (submitted, but not yet published).
The link in the last paragraph of the story above is, for some strange but admirable reason, to the 'London Borough of Brent Community Champions Awards'.
