[Reposted] Until 1 July, Barnet gives you opportunity to say what you think of all the lovely lorries to and from Pinkham Wood

Link to Barnet web site

"Barnet, like all London local authorities, has produced a draft Local Implementation Plan (LIP) for consultation in response to the Mayor's Transport Strategy (MTS). The LIP sets out how the borough intends to implement the MTS locally over the next 30 years, but also focuses on specific projects over the next 3 years.

"This is your chance to comment on the content of the plan and influence the way transport is developed in Barnet to deliver the Mayor's transport aspirations as far forward as 2031, but also in the short term, until 2014."

(Comments can, of course, be given on far more than just Pinkham Wood traffic projections. For instance, transport issues are discussed on the Brent Cross Coalition web site.)

  1. I think the world has gone mad when a borough decides to pollute it's people for money, clearly whoever is pushing this thing forward doesn't live in North London and doesn't care that it's less then 1/2 a mile away from the closest primary school and less then a mile away from 5 other schools! also pinkham way is already so manically busy that it's standard to have a round a miles worth of grid lock traffic everyday, i have already proposed to the residents if you guy's don't start listening to us we will take serious action and have decided to hire 1000 lorries over 1 month or longer depending how it goes to block the entire North circular and cause carnage like your about to cause in the area i've lived in my whole life! we as the residents WILL fight this monstrosity to the death! How can you guy's be so selfish you should be ashamed of yourselves!
